There were never any Windows disks for my computer, I guess because it was already installed. The computer was acting up. It was recommended that I uninstall and reinstall Windows. How on earth do I do that without a disk? I tried researching this myself--no dice. Microsoft said to contact HP. HP says they can't help me because it's out of warranty (purchased in 2002) unless I am willing to pay for technical assistance. I don't want to pay unless I must. It's an HP Pavilion 511w desktop w/Celeron, in case it matters. Thank you for your help.

Repeating Schedule In MS Access?

I'm trying to set up a data base to track my bills. I want to set bills up for a repeating schedules that can be viewed at least a good 6 months out if not infinitely.

I figure I could do this by writing a formula in Excel copying it out as far as like and importing that to Access but that would be time consuming and would have to be done periodically for each due date and pattern.

I want a formula or VBA function or procedure that will make a self updating formula with this pattern.

When I try to IM someone it gives me a message back that they are using a different version. What do I do now?

I've tried to IM several different friends and every time I get a message back that they are using a different version of Yahoo Messenger. They IM me back but I can't see anything that they've sent. What can I do to fix this?

I have Windows XP and I can't download yahoo messenger, it always says it's error. I tired so many times, ..I'm on wireless, too. MSN works fine (until wireless gets disconnected cause of a slow connection). Where can I find a bug?

Is there a USB device that will allow to connect a power cord to it?

I have a 3.5 external hard drive and would like to be able to use it when there are no power outlets around (no I won't get a 2.5 drive because there isn't enough drive space).

How to close a program?

When you press CTRL+ALT+DEL windows task manager comes up. Then i click on processes and it shows all the processes that are running, is there any way to end these and keep them from running? I want to be able to delete what ever is causing this. I don't want to have to do it every time i turn my computer on i want to do it once and be done with it. Is there any computer guru that knows how to do that?
