Can someone explain what exactly a function is in Python?
Also, what's the difference between the "return" and "print" functions?
How would "return" give you data if you can't print it?

i wnt to give an statment in color coded way. say that i have marks in A colom. i wnt to give OK in green if Marks are heighere than 80. if i type =IF(A1>80, "OK") in fomula bar ,OK will apear in Black. how to show it with color redhow can i do so.

Sigh...

Having to fix my parents computer..

Norton systemworks is installed on this pc, i turn it on, log in and i get several messages about norton files being corrupted or missing. I am unable to uninstall it. When bringing up the add/remove page, it wont ever list all the programs for uninstall/etc. The computer will freeze if i click on the start menu tab. Ive been running new tasks using task manager though. Ive disabled norton from popping up with its error msgs. Ive ran ad-Aware, ewido, Kaspersky to search for virus/spyware. It will stop scanning after a certain time and remain stuck at that point.

In event viewer for system "the hard drive has a bad block" theres a event with this every second lol

Ive used disk defrager, disk cleanup,

Scandisk/chckdisk indicates nothing wrong, neither does Hard drive inspector (one of my tools)

Not sure where to proceed from here...

Hello!

I would like to start my own web page and some stuff will be offered to buy. I will use paypal.
Could anyone tell me what should be the basic steps of designing this web site please? I will use "Dreamweaver". I know how to create layouts, but I need help on the following:
There will be a subscription. Name, e-mail addr etc. Where this information should be stored? In mysql db? Then, user will be asked to transfer $ using paypal. Then what ? How the user should be allowed to see the content that he had paid for?
Will I have to create any db using MS Access?

So basically, when I turn on my pc, it asks me to chose a version. The options are Windows XP (Boot Screen), Windows XP Profssional, and another Windows XP option. I never had this happen before, it used to go straight to the boot screen and then the log on screen. How can I get rid of this option seletction?

Everyone gets them, those emails that have been forwarded a dozen times before they reach you. I'm speaking of the kind that often come with multiple large different colored fonts, often with animated pictures and always with indignant rants and raves about everything from patriotism, treasonous politicians, religion, corporate greed, email tracking of forwarding for foundations to make charitable donations, Bill Gates handing out free money or whatever, and other types of phenomenal BS.

Do you forward them without verifying them or make sure that they're true, or do you just delete or ignore them?

i bought an external hard drive 100gb seagate and i want to fresh install windows xp pro on it. but when i try to install it.. it gives me some error relating to SCSI driver and the format and install dosent take place at all.. is there a way i can make windows xp install on my hard drive so that when i hook it up through my USB my computer recognizes it and i start working from that point...
