I'm trying to instal the nvidia 6600 GT but my system says that there is not enough power for the card. How do I disable my integrated nvidia card?

you'll have to load into the bios and find it there.
It's USUALLY called integrated video..

most computers are either f1, f10 or delete during the initial boot to load into the bios.

Regardless of all of that...
Your method of repairing the power issue won't work.

Try finding a 450+ watt power supply over at newegg.. you need more power.

The problem is not your integrated video. It is your power supply. You need more juice for the Nvidia to work.

right click my computer, properties, hardware, devices, open display. right clikc the card you want to disable and properties,. Check disable this hardware( or could also be a drop down )

That won't help. You need a stronger power supply.

new power supply. what your doing is like buying buying lobster for $1.00, cant do it.
