how do you install photoshop?

Same way you install any other program. Buy it, put the CD in or download the file, run the .exe file, follow the prompts.

Buy the CD, and run the setup file.
If you go to download.com, you should be able to find several free graphic editing programs. They are not as powerful as Photoshop, but for the average PC user they will do everything you need.

if you are on Windows, set a Restore Ponit, insert the PS disc in the cd drive. if it does not autoraun, browse to the CD and double-click Setup.exe, follow the prompts. Lots of extras are included. Refrain from installing too many fonts (if available) as they occupy RAM . . .
