i had my old email address but an ex changed the password on me..and now i dont know it.it was my old email..so back in the day when i filled out the questionaire..i dont remember what bday and all that i put??so now what can i do??i tried askin for it..but that's not happenin. and i would really like to get into my old email. can i "break in" or "crack the code"??someone please help!!

We recently moved and I changed internet servers. We have XP and I'm having some problems with my husbands and son's home page. I can change mine to anything I want but theirs keeps coming up with our old default page. No they don't have any passwords set. Our old email address also keeps coming up as our default when I try and send emails to certain sites. Since I'm not a computer geek nor am I a complete novice I could really use some help. Thanks!!!!

It has wireless internet, and when it is disconnected, it never freezes. I'v already run msconfig, and unchecked them all. Ive also tried system restore. It helped a bit. Please help me.

I have an HP laptop. I changed the monitor resolution to the highest setting. The screen went black and now I am stuck. I can not see to get back to change the resolution back to its previous setting. I have tried setting here for hours trying to click my way around hoping I hit it but it is not working. Hi, I'm trying to access my work computer remotely using my favorite program, but I've got to have some way to hit Ctrl + Alt + Del in order to login. The program I use itself doesn't have a command to perform this, but I can execute files.

I'm pretty new to doing this kind of stuff--so is there anyway I can create a .bat file or .exe file or something that I can remotely execute so that I can make my computer think I'm typing Ctrl + Alt + Del?

Hello. I'm brand new to this and know very little concerning the hardware or software, so Lamen's explanations would be appreciated.
Goal - Convert VHS tapes to DVDs using my COMPUTER. I have a DVD R/RW drive and Nero 6(.6 maybe) software that came with it.
What else do I need for hardware and how do I know if I don't already have it? (I've read something about a video card, could I possibly have it already and how would I find out?)

Then what? Is it as simple as hooking the equipment all up, letting the PC capture the data and then burn it to the DVD?

Also, what about potential 'protected' contect. Say my kids Bob the Builder tape. Before he permanently mauls it, can I burn it to a DVD?
