An improperly done html code from eBay scammer. There should have been at the end so you wouldn't have seen this in place of the graphics.

You may be using a text based e-mail program or disabled HTML as a security risk because there are some virus's that are delivered via HTML and JPG/WMF files embedded and shown using HTML mail clients.

Those are html (hyper text markup language) tags for an ad that appears to be from ebaystatic...best I can tell it's an image set into a table with links applied.

I get those occasionally.
Ebay does not send messages like that.
What it means is that some scammer does not know how to send an html email properly from whatever program he is using. Be glad they are sometimes incompetent.
