Changing to a Dvorak keyboard really helped me. It's a highly efficent keyboard layout that reduces the amount of finger movement while typing.
The best part is, odds are good it's already installed on your computer. Check it out!

If it's pain in the fingers then maybe it's an arthritis problem. I sometimes get a pain in the butt from sitting too long

If the pain is in your wrists, it's called carpal tunnel syndrome... Aleve and wrist braces work nicely for this....
If the pain is in your back, it means you're spending too much time at your computer.
