You can attempt to find out what brand of CD rom drive you have, you're going to need the drivers for your CD rom drive so you can find them on the internet or Windows will most likely have them. Right click on My Computer and click Properties. Then click the Hardware tab, and click Device Manager.
Once at that list, you should see sections that can be toggled, find your CD rom drive there and right click it, and click update driver. From there you should try to install it automatically or install it with the driver you downloaded off the internet. Good luck!

your question is not clear. I hope that ur cd rom drive may not be detecting or why u want reinstall unless there is a problem. However ..... I wish to say that start computer with a bootable floppy and hold down CNTL key . When u find select start computer with CD Rom support. after that u restart computer now ur CD rom drive will be detected. Then load if any CD come with your CDROM drive.
