I have been designing web pages with macromedia studio mx 2004 for the last couple of years and am working on a web site to put on cd-rom to show prospective employers...I have a degree in an unrelated subject and am about to enrol on an Msc in Computing to gain a relevant qualification and improve my programming skills. Can anyone offer any advice/hints to break into the industry??

After Installing Oracle 9i and started "SQL plus" ,after entering name:scott,psw:tiger, it is showing an error(i.e.,#ERROR:
ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error#) so plz tell me how to
1) Uninstall oracle 9i
2)Re-install Oracle 9i perfectly inorder to work Sql plus
plz tell me(host Id's,names etc., i hav to mention while i installing oracle 9i)

...stuff at that general level. Usually, if I know what a command is called I can find out how to work it and what the flag settings are.

Can anyone suggest any essential or blisteringly useful little tricks that are not on that list?

My computor has been running reeeaaalllyy slow, my son told me it was because I have too many programs running at the same time [after trying everything else] he did the ctrl,alt,del.,and showed me I had 15 programs open at the same time he closed most of them and now my computor has never run faster!!!! although he couldn't tell me how to tell what these programs were or how to tell what was open without having to use the ctrl-alt-del method please help!!!
