What can you do with LAN and what can you do with Intranet?

To elaborate, an Intranet is simply a term applied to a website that is designed for internal use by a company or organisation, rather than external use by the general public. For example, most colleges and universities have intranets.

A LAN is just a collection of computers wired together, and not really related to an intranet in any way, although I can see why you might put the two together in your mind ;-)

LAN means local area network....more than one computer that are networked together....intranet is a site within a site...

LAN means local area network more than one computer that are networked together.
intranet means web site
