I checked the cord for damage and I've made sure all the connections are good. What could be causing this?

I am a AMD man myself but I have nothing against Intel Processors. My first build ever was with a Pentium 4 and it worked great. I just think that AMD's run WAY cooler and cost less, and I'd much rather be running a sempron than a celeron for budget purposes(celerons stink). Plus the only reason that Intel processors sell better(if they even do) is because they are so widely advertised. So many people dont even know who AMD is. Let me know what YOU think.

How do i get my mom to get me internet on my computer in my room cause sometimes i don't want her all in my buissnies and her boyfriend does the same thing and they gave me a computer but they won't let me get internet so what can i do to convince her cause their always right there reading my messages like now. i adooooore sims (the original) and sims 2. call me a dork, but i absolutely love it!!! but does anyone know how to work the webiste? thesims2.com? i dont get the whole downloading lots and sims thing. if i download something shouldnt i get to use it?? if not, whats the point of offering ppl to download things they cant do anything w/...plz help me!!
