How do i get my mom to get me internet on my computer in my room cause sometimes i don't want her all in my buissnies and her boyfriend does the same thing and they gave me a computer but they won't let me get internet so what can i do to convince her cause their always right there reading my messages like now. Wireless Internet is the best route assuming a PC in the house has ADSL or Broadband - a router is needed and a WIRELESS unit on your end
Many ISPs give free routers and they can be set up automatically easily - the main PC connecting to the phone/internet does not have to be on for the others to receive
Your mum will maybe want some parental control software put on the system to stop you getting bad stuff so explain you are happy with this.
If you have unlimited use with the supplier this is for EVERYONE connected
Most laptops now have WIRELESS built in rather than needing a little interface.

Explain to her that you need it for school. A lot of teachers now days give assignments that require the Internet for research, and students without the Internet can be at a disadvantage. The Internet is like anything else. It can be used for good or bad. They let you watch tv don't they? They probably just monitor what you watch. They can get a monitoring program like NetNanny if they are worried about it.

You're right, you need some help. Turn around and thank them for A) buying you a computer B) caring enough not to let you get into trouble, by letting you have it in your room, while having internet access.

that's gonna be tough. your mom is just trying to protect you.
if you want to gain her trust then show her you have nothing to hide and sit there and let her read your messages. you're not doing anything wrong, right???
she will eventually relax but don't expect it to happen happen overnight.
but you should also know that when at home we all follow our parents rules. no matter what age we are...

tell them that you need internet to do home home and researchs and you dont like to use there computer you like to use yours
