Ive got-Hp dv2025 lap & wantLinux but when i partition it with partition magic i cant -dont wannaLoseHpRecover

ive made the recovery discs but cant seem to partition . I dont want to manually partition cause im afraid that will erase all the data on the recovery part and then il be left with nothing

you should have two partitions. install the linux in the second.

in HPdv-2025 you have to delete exiting partition and re care ate the partition . but you will lose all the data , but you can burn the date you want on the CD`s
