what is it and how do I get rid of it out of my computer?

The person who hacked this pc got booted and then found a way back in via Yahoo Messenger. I shutdown Messenger completely. This person decided to take up residence on the wgatray which may be connected to Symantics Norton 2006 and my ISP, as she's able to cause the online connection to be severed through this point. Does anyone have any knowledge on this that they can pass on to me? Be specific please, and thank you.

I have an older laptop with Windows ME. and I tried to download a program to help me open an .xls attachemnt, but my system is too old and it requires Window 2000 version. Where can I find a version of excel too help me open this, I need this for my work, so it is very important to read the file. Many thanks!!

When I purchased my new computer it used DDR 2700 RAM. My old computer used what is known as PC133. I was hoping to use my old RAM to upgrade the RAM in my new computer but I was told I couldn’t. Why is RAM different, and what are the differences between the older PC133 RAM and the new DDR Ram?

I do a lot of gaming on my computer, and the new one that I bought doesn’t seem to play my high end games very well. My slower computer was better. I was told that I would get better performance if I get a better video card. What is on a video card and why is this device needed to play some of the higher end graphic first person shooter games?

find out if my norton anti virus is running, i did purchase it when i bought my computer but i just have this feeling that my boyfriend was messing around on the computer and might have turned it off, so what do i do to find out if i am being protected? P.S. The reason i dont feel protected is because as soon as i turn on the computer i get spy alerts.

the character map on windows doesnt work for myspace! I have it on Arial and only a few work and those i dont like. i like the ones under Arial Unicode MS but it doesnt work for myspace. I searched on the net for character map and it tells u how to do it and i already know. but i am looking for better symbols. i seen alot of people who have it on myspace but i cant find the person who did it to ask. version I have is 1.4.0 seems to be latest for MAC, and is pretty different than the latest for windows..I don't think I can Install a windows version in my MAC?

This problem will occur when A) you visit a site for game cracks or B) you have clicked a pop up requiring you to install somthing. The pop-up that is you are experencing is spyware installed straight to your computer. The way to remove this problem is:

1) Run Numerous Ad-Aware SE (or what ever version you have) checks untill you have stoped that unwanted pop-up in your right hand screen poping up.

2) once done 3-4 times run norton antivirus

3)This is the final step if norton dose not show with any thing run HIJACK THIS it will find the remaining problem and then you have uninstalled the newsance finally.

PS: do not install the program it tells you to, it contains a Trojan and a Worm virus.
