Hope someone can help. When I click on a link to open up an Adobe Acrobat file it opens a new window but not the file! I'm using Mozilla Firefox as my browser.

Thanks.

Thanks for that answer. Trying to avoid saving it cause I've got quite a lot of files to open and saving them all would use up disk space.

If you open it up in your browser, it will still save the file to your hard drive on the Temp folder. At least when it's on your desktop it'll be easy to delete when you're done.

If you have trouble in general opening Acrobat files in your browser, you need to check its settings -- for FF go to Tools -> Options, choose "Downloads" across the top, and View & Edit Actions. Go to PDF and select Change Action if needed. If that doesn't work, just remove the file type from the list -- then FF will just send it to Acrobat rather than trying to open it in a window/tab of its own (with Acrobat in the background). Actually, this is my preferred behavor with Acrobat files.

You don't say what kind of computer you have. If you have a Mac, open the utility folder under applications and find the disk utility and then run the repair permissions program. It could take a little while. After that, see if you can open Acrobat. If not, go to the Adobe website and download the latest version of Acrobat Reader (you should probably do that anyway if you don't have the latest version).

Are you particular its without delay downloading on your hardrive or is it merely saving a momentary report so that you'll view it. If it a temp report that ordinary. to analyze this you may close the report after it downloads and word if a replica is left. As for the shortcoming of ability to view and print pdf, attempt doing an replace. If none of this works it ought to correctly be your settings it quite is causing the subjects or the application of itself. you may attempt uninstalling the application and reinstalling it once you've the CD to finish that.
