The best bang for your buck would be a Nvidia Geforce 7900 GT video card, some come overclocked and you usually pay more, but you can read some posts on the web and overclock it yourself and pocket the bucks, overclocked it performs near the higher end gtx card. It also is more energy efficient and generates less heat.

Different manufacturers build this with the Nvidia chipset, PNY, Asus, EVGA, XFX, BFG.

The Geforce 7900 gt by Ssus can also come with a silent heat pipe if your case vents well... no fans!!!

i say get the 7600 GT its only 139.99 right now with a 30 dollar mail in rebate at www.neweggs.com I dont know much but by reading the spec the 7600 GT looks faster than the 7900 GT i dunno why.. the core clock and the memery mhz is higher on the 7600 GT than the 7900 GT

this card can run almost every game that needs a graphic card.

Lowest is 5xxx series and Middle is 6xxx series. 6800 GT is a nice option to consider.
