Open Internet Explorer. Go to the Tools menu and select Windows Update. It will install a Java app that will show you any updates you may need. Run it a few times and restart after each time until there are no updates left to install.

MS Update has already been mentioned above. Its better way to update your OS but it will take time, so, if you do not want to go though all the updates and restarts, search for the exact pactch you are looking for (you did not mentioned it).

Remember: SP2 will only run of legal copy.

IF YOUR XP VERSION SOFTWARE IS ORIGINAL IT WILL BE DOWNLOADED AUTOMATICALLY AS I HAVE A ORIGINAL XP VERSION
