the character map on windows doesnt work for myspace! I have it on Arial and only a few work and those i dont like. i like the ones under Arial Unicode MS but it doesnt work for myspace. I searched on the net for character map and it tells u how to do it and i already know. but i am looking for better symbols. i seen alot of people who have it on myspace but i cant find the person who did it to ask. Can someone help thanks.

You'll have to be more specific. Symbols can be added, in general, by use of graphics, through character maps (usually using Unicode, see http://www.joelonsoftware.com/articles/Unicode.html for an overview), and through special fonts.
