I was just wondering which do you think is better? Macintosh or PC. my art teacher says that Mac is better. My sister who works in text support says that Mac is just good for graphics like if your in to a business involving CAD(computer aided design). she also said that PC is good for everything else. What is your opinion, what do you have and if you had both, which did you think was better?

I made a slide show and put a sound file on to play throughout. I then sent this as an email attachment. The slide show was fine but the sound file didnt come on when the recipient ran the slide show. What am I doing wrong?

hello guys
i hav a prob wit my PC.everytime i turn it on or refresh it,there is a message which says a file" svohost.exe" is missing and so on.this occurs everytime i refresh my screen creating other problems too like closing of some minimized windows.all these started when i scanned for viruses with AVG .it removed the file sychost.exe along with some other files which were infected.what should i do now??can i fix the prob. by downloading a fresh copy of svohost.exe from some location??is there any such site??plz reply..

just two questions which have been puzzleing me for a while
1)when you boot up and see the dos message "ntldr is missing",what does the ntldr mean,ive asked in computer shops and they dont even know.
2)after you have installed service pack 2 ,why does the "home" and "proffesinal"dissapear from the boot up screen,is there a reason for this?
anyone who can give me a answer to these surely deserves 10 points!

I have written a VB.net program that monitors what applications are used. I need to able to have it launch in safemode and normal mode, so to monitor all the time.
As safemode disables all but essential services, and it disables start items, run once items etc from the registry, does anyone know of a way to still launch/run a program automatically?
