If the other answer didn't work then check that you have a program installed and associated with the type of attachment you want to open.

Each attachment needs a certain program to open. Each file has a 3 letter extenstion which is associated to a a program on your pc if the pc has a program register for that extenstion that is. If there is no program installed to view that extenstion it won't work. Check the 3 letters at the end of the attachement (somthing.ext) where something is the filename and .ext is the extention Search the extenstion in Yahoo and see if that helps.

Some common extenstions for which you might not have a program installed
.DOC = Microsoft word ( open office.org will open them as well)
.PPS or PPT - MS Powerpoint
.XLS = MS Excel
.RAR = Winrar

If you are using Outlook Express, follow the steps below

1. Start Outlook Express.
2. From the menu bar, click Tools and then Options.
3. Click Security.
4. Uncheck the option “Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus.”

ask your self those questions,have you ever positioned your e-mail address on a lottery cost ticket? have you ever offered a lottery cost ticket from yahoo?Why is there no contact assistance in this e-mail?If the reply is not any to any of those questions then the interest you're looking for is scam.
