Yes, if u r writing at 52x or lower. A higher speed can cause errors on your disc, and ur windows may hang or can crash too. Its better not 2 make ur computer do multiple tasking during CD-burning as it slows down the burning and as well as the application u r working on. And specially, avoid surfing the net at that time because too much download puts pressure on ur pc, and it can hang. Its happened 2 me lots of times, so I dont mail or surf when I'm writing onto my CD.

Of Course. That is the beauty of windows. You can play a game or work on other things while the CD is burning.

All depend on what type/speed burner you have , plus what the processor in your computer and maybe the memory, it should be safe to work while it burns, but things may slow down depending on your specs
