i have an e-pro 256 MB flash disk with me.is there any way to convert it to an external RAM????

in Win Vista, you can.

you can't for older windows OS.

At the moment NO, but there is a new technological breakthrough which may be available in windows Vista which will allow you to use a flash drive as a form of external cache. At present very little is known about the feature and it seems to be causing some misconceptions.

Till date it is not possible. As we cannot convert hard disk into ram we also cannot convert usb flash disk into external ram. It is just a storage device.

dude if it possible then tell me coz it will be one big breakthrough for computers. It is not possible because USB flash is too slow to perform at the speed at which RAM works which varies ofcourse but it is way faster than flash.
