I was on ventrilo with 2 other people and I could only hear one of them. The other's could hear everyone.

What could be causing this?

one, they could of had a private chanel going into which you were not invited...
this often happens when two people dont want any one else to hear them, or ...
two, you might have muted the other person, or
three, the others have checked you off so you can't hear what they are saying

Hey, You might have a plugged up ear..
DO NOT STICK ANYTHING IN YOUR EAR.
Go to a Doctor, or, a nurse and have them take a look at your ear.
