todays discs are not as sensitive as older ones or those floppies we used long back. it is not a great idea to store them long term near a large magnetic force. they should be in a cool place upright not flat, some data loss has been found in discs stored flat. as free from moisture as possible also. use premium discs not supercheap , some cheapies will not fully protect the discs from even slight moisture.
