I know CGI is a server-side scripting, but I downloaded this simple CGI script onto my computer and it works on it, not uploading it to the internet or anything, and also Python is installed on my computer (c:\Python22) and it's completely operational! It's in a .exe program, and I know not me or anyone else decided to download it. But then I read that Google uses Python, so somehow it has to output it as HTML. And then I read that Google used to use c/c#/c++, but i read in other places that they are used for Java, as in a Java applet, not a server-side scripting.

I just re-installed windows xp home on a laptop that has wireless. Problem is that the wireless icon doesn't show like it did before I re-installed the operating system. None of my recovery discs have drivers to install wireless connections. What can I do to install it?

i have just manged to fix a browser hijack,from a site called "freeze.com",luckily they had given a uninstaller which was lucky and spy-bot only threw up 2 entries which were easily cleaned
however is there a utility to stop "browser hijacking",such as a sheild,or is there a free anti-virus with this built in,the p.c in question was running avast4 and did not block the browser hijack
i have only ever had 2 hijacks and have been lucky enough to be able to fix them
if anyone knows of a anti-browser-hijack program,i would be grateful of the name

Somone created a column in our SQL table that has a parenthesis in its name. (e.g. "column3(d)"). When i try to execute "Select columtn3(d) From Table1" i get an error. How can i escape or otherwise get results for this colum via the select statement?

any help would be much appreiated!!

Somehow, the spyware is connected to Microsoft Windows Explorer and that makes it even more difficult to delete. Also when my Windows Defender detects it as a process, it shows me the path and where the virus is coming from. When I go to delete it, it says that the file is being used by another person or program. Even in safe mode it does this and I cant delete it. The file is pmkji.dll
