I am trying to use the php feature include 'db.php', but I need to know whom the mysql host is and how to find out?

I have a phpmyAdmin for my sql provider, but I can't seem to locate what exactly is needed in way of this host part of the feature I am refering to. Do you know anything about php?

Do you have a mySQL server installed?
Which web hosting are you using. If you are using a professional one, your tech support guys can give you an exact answer for this.

check out WAMP http://www.en.wampserver.com/ for windows

for linux try LAMP http://www.onlamp.com/pub/a/apache/2000/11/17/wrangler.html

these come with complete kit for webserver:
a- apache
m-mysql
p-php

mysql host is usually is 'localhost'
