I deal with it everyday,cars speed up and try to pass on the right,cut in front of me and then slam on their brakes and numerous other dumb things.Dont you know a truck fully loaded weighs 80,000lbs and can not stop on a dime like a car.You want to mess with a truck you are going to lose.I put my money on the truck winning everytime

I need to turn my headlights off while approaching gates at military base manned by ARMED gards. They don't like to be blinded by headlights. Makes people nervous.

She stopped in the road and backed into my car...She said she thought she was going the wrong way and needed to back up, in the middle of an intersection. She obviously didn't look behind her, not that she should have been backing up at a red light. I had cars behind me so I could not reverse, I beeped my horn but she said she didn't hear it.
Do you think she will lose her license? I have filed a claim with the insurance company and the police. I'm worried that she will hit someone else and cause serious damage to the person.

i dont claim to be whiter than white, i wasnt trying to "ok im caught, 103, accidently, on togo fast".
i see im getting a ban, driving trucks sux anyway, ppl treat you like an asshole, all i was trying to say is, why should i get humped for a slight mistemena, when other real criminals are getting the softly softly approach. the government is giving junkies smack in jail, cos its not fair for the crims not to get high,lol.ok im done for, 103, was acccidental. but some off you ppl, jesus.wish i hadnt asked. i might come on as an abused pedo, from jail, see how many sympathy cards i get.

Many drivers just don't drive to suit the prevailing conditions.On many trunk roads in dry.clear,sunny conditions, in moderate traffic some folk dawdle along 35-40 mph in 60 mph zone. Why?They seem to not care abouy the hold ups and frustration they cause. In the Advanced drivers test you lose marks for 'failing to make appropriate safe progress'.

In the summer I was driving down a country road and there was no sign saying what speed i should be doing so i was driving to the condition of the road. All of a sudden a bright sign started flashing saying slow down and it told me the speed limit.
It made me really embarrased and I did not know where to kide my self. Do you think these are more effective than speed cameras, do they slow you down?

i have been driving for oh i guess 20 years and was wondering about the proper way to do this....you are at an intersection making a left turn....the oncoming car is also making a left turn...do you cross in front of that car turning simultaneously or do you cross behind the car?....i always thought you were supposed to do it behind the car because a signal is only what they intend to do not what they are going to do...so if you cross in front and they dont turn you are at fault if they hit you...am i correct?

I can legally drive 75 MPH and illegally get away with 85 MPH in the Colorado Rockies, the Sierras, the desert southwest, the Appalachians, the Oklahoma prairie, through rain, wind, and snow.

But when I get to Kansas, and all I see is a perfectly straight horizon, and the closest car is never closer than a mile away, I get pulled over for going 72. Twice. In an hour.

Why? Why is such a god-forsaken, long, boring, open-air state so strict about their already low speed limit?
