Also staff are only allowed to drive 4 hrs in total in any 24 hour period - how true is this

I've been told that truckers have to document driving times and hours and any breaks and sleep they get to make sure that they're getting enough sleep and not driving too many hours at one time without a break. If they go over a certain amount of hours without sleep, they could get in trouble, or even fired if done too many times. Could someone tell me how many hours they are allowed to drive straight through before they are required to at least stop, if not even required to sleep.

I'm getting "top of the line" Nokian tires. Guy at the tire place said with those tires 2 will be ok but my dad says rule of thumb is, if you're putting studs on you need 4. I have no clue.

How many people know the rules of stopping at stop signs? let's say a 4 way stop? How many of you follow the guy in front of you and then give dirty looks to the person who had the right of way? If you would please put the state you live in also. Curious about driving habits in each state

Confused about this intersection. There is a road that splits into a V sort of. An at the light you can go left, left, and right. So taking the second left there is another light. Shows the color of the right behind you. An as you t ake this left tere is another intersection. With cars coming. So while going through this light at the left. It is green. But as you drive; and the light turns left. An you get to the spot where the cars can drive into the left here. What do you do? Stop, or go I am confused. I go. But is that right? Thanks for the input.

I'm driving from San Diego to Longmont Colorado through the Rockies. My Ford Ranger is so light that any wetting of the road causes poor traction. My 5 year old granddaughter is travelling with me and I want to take every precautuin. Has anyone added weight (sand bags for example) for traction purposes? If so, was there an advantage as to where the weight sits (in front or behind the rear wheels)? I'm planning to leave Nov 17th and expect to hits lots of slippery weather. Thanks.
