my childrens bus driver is so dangerous....he runs stop signs, red lights, runs up on curbs, runs over animals, speeds and even hit a parked car and kept going with students on the bus. I want to take up a petition to have him fired. Any ideas on how i should word it? How many signatures do i need?

I've went to the school..they did nothing....told me to contact the transportation superintendant at the bus gargage. I called him and he told me to put my complaints in writing. We as parents have been fighting this for 4 years to no avail. My son got jumped by another student on the bus and he had to have stitches. This bus driver did nothing...no first aid....the doc said just a little more and my son would have lost his eye.

Evidence. You'll need evidence to back up the claim.

200 signatures should start the ball rolling

You should word it plainly, without anger, but with passion, if that makes sense. Don't make it seem like you're an angry person looking to vent, but a serious person looking to have a concern addressed. Outline all the incidents, provide any information on corroborating witnesses you think are appropriate, and make sure your wording makes you sound serious. As far as signitures, as many as possible, but on an issue like this I don't know how many that would be. Also, have you tried just going to the school? No school in their right mind would want a driver like this associated with them.

If you got VIDEO evidence, you don't need a petition. One call to the local TV station should raise enough eyebrows and muttered oaths to get things done.
