If detroit wants to be successful again. they should stop building cars in mexico and overseas. Also the government should step up and charge more for a car built in mexico or overseas. or built here in the US by a foreign owned company. Do you think Japan would let FORD or GM build cars in their country? Why dont we limit how many foreign goods come into the US? I am sure theres 100's of 1000's of unemployed legal people here in the US who'd love to have a job again.

I hear people scoff at the idea, but what do you think of these two considerations:
1) Being such a large company, would they really not care about their repuation?
2) When you go elsewhere, are you really getting a guy putting on your tires who's being paid anymore? I just don't see a master mechanic putting on tires all day long.

What is your opinion?

...so I called my insurance company to inform them. I had been on their insurance as a learner driver but I thought that my premium would be cheaper now that I've passed - it's not! Is this right? Is it the same with all companies, your premium is the same price even after you've passed?

ps wooohoooo!

I am looking at purchasing Goodyear Integrity tires at Walmart. I was wondering if anyone knows how good these tires are and if they are the same tire as you would buy anywhere else? Do you think that these would prove to be a safe, reliable tire?

I'm a little worried as I need to fill my tank (in SE England) to make a 7 hour journey tomorrow, and don't want to end up stranded in the wilds of the West Country with a broken down engine.

Do the smaller Corsas even have an oxygen sensor (which seems to be the problem the 'rogue' petrol is causing)?

Opinions or advice by mechanics or Corsa owners would be most useful!
Thanks.
:)
