I had my mom's V6 Plymonth, then I purchased a 4-door Plymonth Horizon as my first car. My sister had a lime-colored Ford Pinto.

Aww, sigh, cry. a 1966 Mustang (eggplant color - my friend called it the Purple Turd). Bought it with money I had saved from babysitting. Paid $800 for it in 1977; sold it 2 years later for $1300. Wish I still had it. Miss it terribly. I've since had a 67 GTO (California car) my ex sold it ---grrrrr; and a 1967 Chevelle SS which I unfortunately due to financial divorce problems had to get rid of. Would take any of those back in a heartbeat. My husband still has the 1971 Dodge Charger SE he bought in1979. Thanks for the 2 pts and the walk (drive) down memory lane.

Oh my gosh! It was a 1977 Ford Pinto station wagon. I bought it from my brother for $400 when I was 18 yrs. old. It wasn't much to look at but it was the best car I ever had. I never had any problems with it and the only money I put into it (besides gas and regular maintenance) was new tires. I loved that car!!!!

the first car i drove was a 91 toyota corolla, while i was in highschool, it was my parents that they gave to me. i drove that from about 96-99. the very first car i bought was in 2000 when i got a new pontiac sunfire. man i loved that car, wish i still had it but i had to trade it in to get something better, dumbest thing too cause it was almost paid off i had like 4 payments left then started all over again.
