Hydrogen. All other fuels pollute, although not as much as gasoline. Hydrogen gives off pure H2O - basically distilled water. That's it.
Also, a hydrogen engine doesn't actually burn the fuel, the fuel cell converts it to electricity. That way, you don't have an internal combustion engine - therefore no polluting lubricant oils, either. This means that the car is actually using electricity to drive it. And with electric engines making over 100 hp each, and small enough to fit into the wheels, you could be looking at 4WD and 400 hp in your average sedan. Not bad!
Hydrogen is also the most plentiful substance in the universe - and it's renewable. Simply split the water into hydrogen and oxygen through electrolysis (you could use solar, nuclear or hydro-electric power for this), and you're good to go again. Fuel for as long as the sun burns!

Although a car that runs on hydrogen doesn't itself pollute, keep in mind that probably a lot of pollution was caused by the process of producing and distributing the hydrogen fuel.

I asked by Email if the product production factory in Russia
has information allowing me to purchase or post-purchase modify their Ural Gear-Up Model to run on LPG. This fuel is derived from natural gas or petrol processing. The USA and
Canada are the largest sources of natural gas. Fueling for me on LPG in a petrol starved environment remains an option.
Suggest you and your partner also look at the Ural Products.

GET FUEL OUT OF YOUR HEAD. KEEP SAYING TO YOUR SELF ELECTRIC, ELECTRIC ELECTRIC. Electric cars are the future there is no sense in keeping these fuel companys alive when we don't need them electricity is renewable energy. we get it from the sun from the wind from water from magnets. I don't want to delve too much into this because i will end up typing a damn report on it but if you have to choose a FUEL I would have to say either Ethanol but another suggestion is Compressed air
which if engineered correctly we could have car that runs on compressed air while making more compressed air to power itself like a continuous cylce

propane gas can be easily adapted to most cars that use gasoline. but it has its drawbacks refilling the tanks can be a bit nervewrackin. and you cant find many filling stations so you cant depend on traveling using propane.
