Should I say I'm going to test-drive a car at a dealer and take the car for a couple days, or should i rent from someone (like Enterprise) or is there any thing else I should consider? I don't want to spend too much(not more than $200) and I want a decently nice car. Also, if I decide to test-drive a car from a dealer, will they expect me to buy a car from them sometime soon?

I'm looking for a Plug In Hybrid car that is out on the market today. Are there any major companies (ex. Toyota, Mazda, etc..) that have them out on the market today and aren't just concept cars for the future.

This only applies to cars that can be unlocked by remote button. Should you lock your keys in the car and the spare keys are home.

If some one has access to the spare remote have them telephone you on your cell phone.

Hold your cell phone about a foot from your car door and have the other person on the phone press the unlock button aiming it at the phone while you point your phone at the car

Your car will unlock. I tried it and it works. Saves someone from having to drive your keys to you. Distance is no object.

I'm starting to wonder if ashtrays can be found in cars anymore. I'm constantly seeing jerks throw cigarette butts out of windows instead of respectfully disposing of them within their own car.

Is it possible to buy a car with an ashtray?

I want to apply to get my old paper provisional (motorcycle/still valid) license converted to the now compulsary photo provisional in order to take lessons for a car.
Its simple enough to do.
I just fill in a D1 DVLA form available from the post office and send it off with a P.O for £19 and three forms of I.D.
But here in lie's the problem... I have no form of photo id, which i am told i will need.
My passport was lost months ago during a house move and i dont want the added expense of getting a new one just yet.
What other forms of ID can be used instead????

I was parked in a no parking zone for a very short time, when I came out an officer had started issuing tickets but not on my car. After I had started by car the office blocked me in with her car and issued a ticket.
