Try your best to avoid a fiery collision with a school bus. Oh, and don't run over the cop directing traffic down at the corner.

Be confident. Dont forget to signal. Wait for instructions unless you cant possibly do something else. Example: you shouldnt ask which way to turn if you are about to go onto a one way street. Make sure the instructor sees you constantly checking your mirrors. You should also turn around very quickly to check your blind spot before changing lanes. Dont drive too fast or too slow. Before driving off make sure that there is no oncoming traffic and dont forget to signal.

Parallel parking is a biggie! Practice, practice, practice until you have it down pat! Keep both hands on the wheel, use turning signals, don't cut the corners too short, and by all means...no speeding! Make a point of turning your head slightly to check your rearview mirror and outside mirrors. If you just glance at them the instructor may not realize that you're using your mirrors. Make nice, smooth stops and slow take-offs (don't gun it!) when starting. WEAR YOUR SEATBELT at all times! Good luck!

Turn the radio down low and then shut it off. They will ask to have to turn it on during the test. No need to shock teacher.
