Should I say I'm going to test-drive a car at a dealer and take the car for a couple days, or should i rent from someone (like Enterprise) or is there any thing else I should consider? I don't want to spend too much(not more than $200) and I want a decently nice car. Also, if I decide to test-drive a car from a dealer, will they expect me to buy a car from them sometime soon?

I don't believe a car dealer will let you keep a car more than an hour or so when you test drive one. Let alone a couple dayz. If that was the case, people would never rent or buy a car. Car dealer's just won't let you do that. I think you would be better off renting a car, or for such an inportant event, like the prom, why not go all out and rent a limo for the night? My daughter's boyfriend did that and he and a friend went in together and it wasn't more than a $100. each. The girls were really impressed too! If you are thinking about having anything to drink, please consider this or if all else fails, get three couples to go in together and split it three ways. Good Luck and Have Fun!!

Don't do either, just borrow a car from a friend or relative.
