Any American mid-size to full-size sedan is great if you ask me. I think that the Taurus is one of those cars that don't get enough credit. It may not be the hottest car on the road, it may not have fancy, useless technology like a 6-CD stereo system or seat massagers but it'll do you good. Especially an '06. If you can get it at a good price, go for it.

Have you decided that the Ford Taurus is the best vehicle for you? Are you interested in looking at any other vehicles? If not, then expand your horizons on the types of vehicles you are willing to buy. If you are convinced that the Taurus is the vehicle for you, do yourself a favor and purchase an extended warranty.

The Taurus is a very good car. I have an 02 with 92,000 miles and have had no problems.

They are not terribly exciting, but the Taurus is not a bad car all around. My mother's 1994 has 160,000 miles and is still going strong.

They are great cars for safety, comfort & reliebility, which made them the number choice car for travelling salespeople. I have seen many with well over 100,000 miles going strong.
