I have some extra money left over and I want to get something nice for my car. I was looking at an all in one DVD/CD unit with touchscreen monitor, (pretty badass, I've always wanted one) or a cat-back exhaust system. Both are about $400, but I can only get one at this time. I like the DVD player for looks and function but the exhaust would be a great addition to my car...

Which would you get first?

I just recently recieved a traffic ticket here in Los Angeles and I was wondering if there was any place/website/broucher/whatever were I can find the amounts to specific traffic violations. I don't care if they are an approximate, anything would help. Thanks!

Just as the question says above. I have a 4 cyl engine, I have facotry size tires which are 15".

Right now I have 2 BF Goodrich Traction t/a tires in the front, a General Tire on the back passenger side (which is balder than Patrick Stewart) and a "Road Hugger" tire I got from discount tire.

The road Hugger is pretty new but the other two need to be replaced.

Any suggestions between 60 and $90 a tire?

I understand how the electric car works, but why can't they make them stylish? I have yet to see one electric car that i would want to drive. I am for change. I am for alternative fuel, but there is no excuse for the odd designs that have come off the assembly lines. The reason nobody will buy one is because they're UGLY CARS! How come an electric car can't look like a scion, accord, or a sentra? I am starting to wonder, is it just pressure from the oil companies to try and stall change?

I have never had a ticket before, and i was driving cause my mom seemed to be worried about her ailments acting up. I am not sure what to do. I know i was going fast, but as fast as the guy in front of me, i don't believe i was going 78 but 65-70 rather cause i look at my speedometer. I don't mind paying the fine and pleading guilty because i was going fast, but i don't want points on my license because i am the only one in my family who drives and cant afford to have my insurance go up to high. I don't know what to do, can i plead guilty and ask to not get points on the condition i take a class? I hate to not face up to my mess ups, but then again the consequence will make it hard for me and my family and i cannot risk that either. What can i do to avoid points on my license? I have only had my license for 3 years.

say you leave work or school or wherever you have to park on the street, not in the parking lot. when you come out to leave you are sandwhiched between two cars with little room to get out without hitting either car. how would you get out if you dont know who the cars belong to? say either car was damaged, are you responsible for this? just a thought, this didnt happen to me.

I need hand controls for the brake/accelerator installed on a 2001 Dodge Caravan. I have the push/pull hand controls from a 2000 Caravan that was in an accident, so it would just need to be bolted on. The place that originally installed the controller said that it would take 4-5 hours at $108/hour. I live in the Delaware Valley area of Pennsylvania.

I took my driving test yesterday. I was pretty excited, and everything was going well. First, we checked that I knew all the controls. Then, I parked between some cones without hitting them, and backed out without hitting them. Then, we took it to the street. Blah blah, follow directions (I made a mistake of not slowing down and looking both ways before crossing an unmarked railroad track...? Weird.) But I didn't fail for that. So we come to a four-way intersection, and I'm supposed to turn left. The light is green, and I pull behind this big SUV. I look left, then right, and see nothing coming, and the SUV goes. Still seeing nothing, I proceeded.. But made the mistake of not stopping anyway, because I was supposed to look for oncoming traffic straight forward.. So I failed. I don't want to fail it the second time, so what can I do to make sure nothing goes wrong on my next test?
