My dad, my sister (12), and I (15) are driving from New England to Nevada.. it's over 40 hours in the car, except it won't be in a car, it's a Uhaul truck! Major help needed in ideas for this 3 or 4 day driving trip! I have an iPod, we've got a laptop (that won't have internet while driving, but can be plugged in to charge in truck). Any ideas? I imagine we'll be playing the Alphabet game a little too much....

Is this a good car? Can I count on many good dependable years with this vehicle?

Yeah, so I'm actually thinking of driving my family from Central Illinois to Phoenix, AZ to attend my brother-in-law's wedding. I figure we'll save about $400 so I think it makes sense. But I want to find a rental (min-van, preferably) that has DVD players built in for my 7 and 2 year-old kids. Is this possible? I can't find rental cars with DVD players advertised anywhere on the internet and the salespeople I've talked to on the phone havent given me any info. Is the idea of driving the 24 hour stretch in the relative comfort and peace two DVD players on the back of our seats would allow just a pipe dream?

I was always told that when it snows it can damage your car / paint so you should wash your car. But what happens if it's really cold where you live and it could snow any day? I was just about to wash my car last week but could thing I didn't cuz there was a blizzard the next day. I mean it's either your car gets damaged or you waste money so your car is clean for a day or so...what are you supposed to do
