Like what most people have said, you can buy german tires from most local tire shops. Another recommendation would be to go to www.tirerack.com - they have every tire you can imagine. I have bought multiple sets of tires from them.

Not knowing what kind of car you have or what type of tire you are looking for, I can't say much else about a tire recommendation. I'd consider the following tires though depending on your budget.

Kumho or Avon - for you looking for a decent performance tire for a good price.

Pirelli or Yokohoma's - Moderate Price

Michellin or Bridgestone for the best tires - Expensive Price

Conti's are in the Moderate Price range - but I'd personally go for a different brand.

These are generalizations - Tire Rack can tell you their opinions.

Good luck.

Select your German brands on-line. If there are any distributors here in America the individual brands, distributors and tire outlet dealers will be posted. Good Luck. If you prefer European tires Nokian is a Swedish brand that's a well kept secret. They're available all over the US..

Continental is a german tire. Your local tire shop should be able to get you any brand/make tire you request.
