I finally bought a car...2003 Toyota Corolla with 32k miles on it, and it is Toyota certified through most of 2010.

Is this a good car? Can I count on many good dependable years with this vehicle?

Depending on your maintenance routine, almost any vehicle will give you years of trouble free service. You are covered under warranty, but you didn't mention if you are going to be done paying it off before the warranty runs out. In 2010, it will be a 7 year old vehicle, with typical 7 year old vehicle issues.

Personally, I would have gone with a new car, but that's me...

D Looks like you'll be getting alot of advise. The easiest one to buy would the Sebring Conv. A Mustang is the masucline look but very hot look for a woman. But, the most fun vehicle in that price range you should consider would be a Mazda Miata. Definately a girls car, great on gas, cheap insurance and becoming a classic. Ask the salesman for a history report you can read. Take the car you choose, to a franchise brand name dealership for a inspection before you buy. If the salesman has a problem with that walk away. Hey BM Toyota's are really good cars. Very well known for lasting a long time as long as you do your scheduled maintance on it. It also depends on how it was taken care of prior to you getting it. That is the only down fall on getting a used car because of not knowing how the other owner took care of it.
I would say yes you got a good car but take care of it just like anything else and it should last a long time.

Shouldn't be asking that before you bought the car? The Corolla is a dependable car, good on gas and will last a long time if you do the regular maintenance. Enjoy the car!

Kinda late to be asking that, pal.

What if I say no it's not a good car!? Most of these things dont come with a 'return policy'.
