My friends car is frozen solid. She can't get in to it, and it won't get warmer here for quite a few days. If anyone knows how to do this it would be greatly appreciated. She thinks hot water is the answer but someone said it may cause her windows to crack.

way back in the seventies, i hired a rent a banger car from manchester to go to my wedding in suffolk, for the full weekend it only cost me £10, if we could do stuff like that now i would not need a car for all time, i could rent one when i needed it, or just for work give it em back at weekends, wouldnt need to worry about tax ins and stuff, i wander how much a banger would be now. they gave me an old austin cambridge, well worth a tenner.

1993 Chevy G20 conversion VAN HighTop 5.7L 350 V8 engine 210HP 300ft-Ib torque...(6000 pounds) with 260,000miles on the engine
VS.
Ford Taurus Station Wagon 1989-1995 3.0 liter V6 I think
Which would you think would win in a real race?
A Ford T.S.W. was in front of me and my dad was driving my van and the ford took forever to go through the stop sign so my dad blew the horn, he finally went but was only going like 20MPH, my dad got mad and crossed the double white lines to try to bass him, but the ford gave it the gas and me obviously also, but we were equal for 500 feet at 60mph untill he got to a stop sign and I went to another road? The fuel injectors and fuel pressure regulator in my van aren't working too great (failed emmissions test), my transmission isn't too great either, no overdrive. I was going out of the emissions center and saw a truck coming, so I though I would give it more gas, so I did and for some strange reason it burned rubber for about100ft until letting off

I am going to be turning sixteen in April. It will be my first time owning and driving a car. I really want something new, affordable, and VERY SAFE. I also want something that doesn't need to go to the repair shop often. I have heard that Hondas are safe. I just want to be able to explore other options. What do you suggest for a first time driver/car owner?

I already asked this but I worded it badly and people misunderstood.
I'm coming up to 2 years since I passed and I understood that my 6 point allowance would go up to 12.
However I already have 3 points on my licence and someone suggested I would have to go 2 years without getting any more points before I would receive my full allowance of 12.
Which is it?

We purchased property that use to be a salvage yard, we have cleaned up everything, except alot of old car tires. They are not on rims, just tires, where can we take them or who could use them? I understand they shred them up and use them to make things out of. Any ideas?

i also heard that the only way to extract hydrogen from water is with the use of fossil fuels. so that really doesnt get anywhere right.

and same thing with the electric car. you plug it into your house, but your house electricity comes 70% from burning fossil fuels.

I know that some electronic parts were installed in the 1970s. I'd also like to know the first parts to be used as well as the make of the first cars they were installed on. Additionally, I'd like to know when pickup trucks were first equipped with electronic parts as well as the first year. Please, no guessing. If you don't know, please, don't answer.

Thanks.
