what happens when u add 1 gal. jet fuel to 17.8 gal. of gas

dont do it as it will explode if you want to put jet fuel by some of that glass cleaner its mostly jet fuel

This is not a good idea - the engine will run very rough (if at all), and will blow lots of smoke. Jet fuel is basically kerosene. I doubt your car will want to run on kerosene.

Did you mean Avgas? Avgas is just like gasoline, but with a higher octane rating (usually about 120.) It won't hurt your engine (especially that diluted), but you might go just a little slower, as your car doesn't have the necessary compression to make full use of the higher octane rating.

PS: Hey Slick! 120 octane is aviation fuel, but NOT jet fuel. It's for piston-engine aircraft, like you get from Cessna, Piper, Beechcraft, etc.

nothing. Its deluited so much. Anyway i run jet fuel in my racecar regular engine special valve seats to take the heat from the jet fuel. It measuers 120 octain much more the 87 i wouldent run it straight but with that mixture it will be ok once and a while.

Daughter answered this one.. she is an areospace / mechanical engineer.... Don't do this at home....
