I am thinking of buying one of those radar detaectors for my car to avoid being caught speeding. The ones I am looking at cost around 30 pounds. Are they all reliable, and will they detect all speed checks?

Im 2003 mistubiti galant was stolen out of my drive way thursday evening...it was my dream car, fully paid, only had liability insurance and i only had it for 3 months.....they cant find the guy that stole it, so i am probably not going to get anything out of it....my emotions are going crazy right now...how would you feel?

I've been looking for a pickup in the $8,000 range to last me the next several years. I've always been a chevy fan, and i know they are good trucks, but today i found a really nice dodge for a good price. I really like it because it seems to sit higher than the comparable chevy. it just seems bigger all around. I'm comparing these two: 1999 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.9 liter, automatic trans., ext. cab, shortbed 4x4. Color: black w/ tinted windows, very nice.
1999 Chevy 1500: all the same features, except with the 5.7 of course. both are the same price. which would you choose and why?

GM used to be the leader in car sales in the US. Last year, sales were terrible. They're hoping this year will be better. From the auto show in Detroit, it looks like foreign car makers...especially Toyota will soon pull ahead. To me, it doesn't seem like they care enough about their cars, while foreign companies are far more advanced.

I'm in Virginia. Ok well I'm in driver's ed right now, I got my permit on August 16th and it'll be 9 months on May 16th. I'm in driver's education right now, and it'll be over by the end of this month. Can I start behind the wheel right after I get out of driver's ed even if its not May? If so, will I be able to use the paper/provisional license?

I mean seriously, legally when a semi is loaded it weighs 80'000lbs, or 40 ton. With all that weight on the truck, it just don't stop on a dime. I drive a ready mix truck and I'm driving a truck that has a shifting load in the drum and people cut me off like they think I can stop on a dime. I have almost had accidents because people have cut me off and honestly it pisses me off that some people have such little disreguard or respect for that big truck. I've been in an accident in a big truck and honestly lucky to be able to walk, much less alive.

Seriously when your driving around those big trucks, show some respect. It would make truckers like myself ALOT happier.

I just recently bought a '06' Kia Rio what can I do to get more pep out of it? I am not good with working on cars so I need simple inexpensive things I also dont wanna void the warranty(I know its only a little car I cant really expect to make it a fast car but I would like a little more power from it ,better acceleration)

They proved that this actually works on mythbusters, for diesal engines anyway, but they showed how they took the leftover oil from a deep fat frier in a restaurant. I was just curious if the oil needed to be deep fat fried first, or if you could take a bottle right off the shelf in a supermarket to make your car go...not that I want to try this by the way. I am just curious.

waht is the purpose for ur horn on ur car? i had a question on my permit test that says when there is an ambulance comming behind u do u pull off and honk ur horn to tel every1 that there is an emergency or what?? Im taking the bus for the first time tomorrow, Its probably a dumb question but is there any good bus travelling tips??
