Trains tend to have motion in only a single constant way, where as cars move in more different and unpredictable ways. You can get used to the trains motion, but not the cars.

The bumps and curves taken by a car are a lot smoother and softer because of plush suspension causing a lulaby effect, where train motion is sharp and quick because of the stiff suspension.

because trains do not move around as much as cars. Motion sickness is all about your sence of balance being upset by constant moving/acceleration. In a car you can feel tha acceleration and geforce from from turning alot more than you can in a train so it upsets your sence of ballence, therefore you feel ill.

In the train you have more space to move in a car you have limited room to move around this might be the cause but i can't really say it is that but something to think about

Time to buy a car with decent suspension!
The sportier the car the harder the suspension, the rougher the ride!
