I think they junk up the car...

bumper stickers, like button pins, reflect the taste of the user; ergo, tacky people usually show tacky stickers. bottom line: if you see a bumper sticker you think is tacky, you'll be likely to think the same about the person who put it there!

By and large, yes. However, one tasteful bumper sticker if small and placed to the side might be alright. Use your best judgement. Bumper stickers regarding heated political issues, snide adivice, or smart aleck remarks are always tacky.

The only bumper sticker I could see on a car is a really old beater that you never wash, and it has the "DO NOT WASH: Conducting Scientific Dust Study"

Never get a religious one, like "Next time you're perfect try walking on water"

Generally I don't like them. I have only seen one or two bumper stickers I have liked at all.

I always kinda felt that they are meant to irritate and provoke other drivers with their message, unless of course you are like minded. All'n'all they are somehow puerile

they're funny plus you can always remove them!! i seen one that says:
"DON'T HONK I'M RUNNING OUT OF PLACES TO HIDE THE BODIES!"
