I went to the gas station and they charged me .08 cent extra per gallon when I used my credit card. I just want to know the reasoning behind it cause not all places do that.

I have a 2000 toyota avalon. It's white with a sunroof and spoiler. It's cute but not really the type of car that should be suped up. Still I would like to fix it up some. I've got the windows tinted and I'm getting nice speakers and an amp tomorrow. I'm not sure exactly what rims to get...chrome but I don't know what size. What are some other things I could do to supe it up (that would be okay on an avalon)?

I had recently sold a 1960 Chevy Impala ...The car was stolen before they could register it under their name....They got their money back from their insurance....So I was driving around last week and happened to pass a body and paint shop and there it was getting ready for some body work and paint I knew it was my old car because the upholstery and wheels were the same ones I sold it with... So I called the people I sold it to but they will not respond to my phone calls....So is it possible for me to get back?if so what should I do to go about getting it?

i bought a car off ebay that failed emissions three times.I got the vehicle from New Jersey and i live in Georgia.i went to try to get a tag and they asked for emissions.During the course of getting the emissions done I lost the title and dont know what has happened to it and it is required in Ga or at least i think it is now.Ive had a hard time getting a duplicate title as the company i bought from doesnt seem to have it and it doest register in either Georgia or New Jersey and the dealer gives me the run around and gives me different prices on a new one.im not totally sure where my "bill of sale" is either.the dmv acts like they dont handle lost titles or from doing this years back. Meanwhile the radiator went bad and got cracked,my card has been broke into and the window switches, the headboard(controlling air conditioner, heat light, etc and my cd player has been stolen and it needs a paint job.it also has a 12 inch subwoofer amp i put in it i dont want to lose.

In 2005, I rented a car from Enterprise Rent-a-Car, & my nephew stole the car keys while I was sleeping & crashed it into a tree & totaled it, & I had full coverage insurance on the rented car. Now, the company is telling me that I was irresponsible, & that I won't be allowed to rent from them as long as I live. (for the rest of my life) I think that's too harsh.

I wish to ship a Toyota 4X4 to Capetown SA. What would be the ballpark shipping costs? Ignore importation costs, just the shipping costs.

We have to renew car tag every year and why do we need to renew driver license too? I think department of motor vehicle should only for people who need to take driver license exams, people who got problems with their driver license such as probation and whatnot, and people from other states who want to change their driver licenses.
Do you agree? I really disagree with renewing driver license every 5 or 10 years because it is unnecessary, money wasting and a hassle. Also, the people who works at DMV are very rude and unprofessional. And, why do they need your social security? Can you trust those people with your social security?

A friend of mine says that the speed limit on a dual carriageway was 60mph until after 1991 when it changed to 70mph (UK). However, I took my test in 1987 and have always believed it to be 70mph? Does anyone know if the limit was originally 60mph and when it changed? Thanks!

In the pub last night, a bloke (who claimed he used to service the cameras), said that if your'e ever flashed by a speed camera, you can bung the keyhole of the camera up with bits of nails etc and this way it can't be serviced for a long time and so there is a good chance the data will be lost.
Has any one heard of this before or is he telling porkies?
