I dont know about Daytona, But in Ft. Lauderdale I could rent a car from a place called AAA rentals. Off of a1a there is a street called Sunrise , and its like a few blocks down, and I was 17 or 18 and I rented a car for like 40 or 30 a day. It was awesome!! I got a jeep wrangler it rocked!!! Made my vaca. with my Bf so much more fun!

You cannot rent a car when you're 18. Must be 21+

Out of the box idea. I am not from FL so I have no local insight. But worst case scenario go to uhaul and rent a small truck.
maybe not if you are going on a date though. That would be unimpressive.
