Here is the California DMV practice test but I don't think there's DVDs on the subject.

There is a DVD called Rock Kendall's ...something or other, and it is available on Amazon. Check it out in their DVD section, I also think it takes place in California so if it's available it should be of help to her.

The DMV has sample tests online

Just study the book, that's all you need.
