I have a 2000 toyota avalon. It's white with a sunroof and spoiler. It's cute but not really the type of car that should be suped up. Still I would like to fix it up some. I've got the windows tinted and I'm getting nice speakers and an amp tomorrow. I'm not sure exactly what rims to get...chrome but I don't know what size. What are some other things I could do to supe it up (that would be okay on an avalon)?

I wasn't planning on suping it up like a speed racer. Just wanted a few ideas to make it cute.

Hey people, she is trying to make the car cute, not beat a Z06 in the 1/4 mile... it's not a waste if she likes it...dam.......
Anyway the spoiler and pinstripes is a good idea, you can get tailight covers, 3rd brake light covers that say anything..... decal graphics on ebay..... Neon light bars if your into that..... on the insdie you can get....steeringwheel covers, seat covers that have anything on them, hearts...flowers...bubbles.... floor mats with the same stuff. My wife did her 2001 beetle up with seat covers, steering wheel cover, license plate frame, floor mats all the same blue flower patterrn, it looks good for a female's beetle.

Any money you would spend on performance mods would be better spent on a car designed to be fast.

If you're buying wheels, don't go for the hugest thing you can afford that will fit. It will adversely affect the ride and handling. Appearance and weight should be your concerns in buying wheels. You don't want them to be heavier than stock, unless you're going to make suspension upgrades. The heavier your wheels, the more weight there is bouncing around every time you hit a bump.

Honestly, if I were you, I'd stick with the stereo and the tint. A tint isn't just cosmetic, it's useful, especially if you live someplace hot. Everything else will just lower the value of your car if you eventually sell it. Yes, it will be worth LESS if you modify it...at best it will just not increase the value.

What you are able to desire to ask your self is; what's this going to fee you in the top? you're searching at a $2400 restore for a respectable vehicle with purely 80,000 and relativly greater moderen sort. after it incredibly is done it is going to in all danger be positive and pushed easily for a on an identical time as except you're searching greater to be incorrect. in spite of in case you offered it as is, you may get at maximum $2000 for the motor vehicle. so in case you're taking the 2400 and 2000 you have 4400 to spend on a clean used vehicle. A $4400 vehicle isn't the suitable in the international. you're searching at procuring a older sort, ninety 8 or older, with larger mileage. as that stands, you're searching at issues even faster lower back at the same time with your new used vehicle, and consequently going to could desire to spend greater money fixing that, considering you will not at all purchase a used vehicle while not having to repair something. So, i could say restore the motor vehicle on your 2400, and be carried out with money. it truly is the suitable ingredient, not greater money. so, reckoning on what your month-to-month charge became, you need to nonetheless be saving greater money via repairing it. ask your self how plenty have you ever stored because of the fact the money have been finished, does it outweigh what the upkeep would be? purely what i think of could desire to be carried out.

Any money you put into that car you are gonna lose. I say keep it how it is. But if you must modify. I would recommand black rims on a white car. I dislike chrome. Go 16 inch or 17 inch. 16 being a good rims size. Try tirerack.com. you can see the rims on your car b4 you buy em!

A rear spoiler and some pin stripping would give it some change to it's appearence.

forget chrome wheels.

they may look "nice" but once they get older and the chrome starts to corrode you will have all sorts of tire leak problems and indeterminable leaks.

not worth the trouble.
