On my 4wd truck,I have 4 different settings which are.
2 high- Auto- 4 high- 4 low on the dial.
My question is this, by transferring to Auto from 2 high will this have any effect on my gasoline mileage.I am not in 4 wd just Auto
so I guess the wheels sense slippage and automatically transfers the power. By running in this setting during snow or icy conditions
am I affecting the gas mileage????? Please answer!!

At work, if your boss gave you the option of driving the most expensive Kia or the cheapest Honda, which would you drive?

I rent a car at $500.00 per month, which includes all gas and insurance and no upkeep charges. Only problem is that I have to change cars every second day. Is this deal worth it or should I go and buy my own car?

Hi, Does anyone know of any rules about parking large vans in a residential area? There are two in our street making a lot of noise on callouts at night and making getting in and out the cul-de-sac difficult.

At home, I have a manual 2005 Altima and an automatic 1995 Camry. Next fall semester, I'm moving into a city that's known to have a high rate of car thefts, and I was wondering if I should take my altima to the city. I heard from several people that manuals are theft deterrents because less people know how to drive shift and don't sell as well as auto parts in the chop shops. However, the car is newer and nicer than my automatic camry. I was wondering if taking the altima would be a better idea than taking the camry. Thanks.

I will soon be buying a new car and am deciding between a few models. I am looking for (1) reliability, (2) AWD, (3) sporty feel and drive, (4) good gas mileage, (5) great build quality, (6) navigation system which actually works as it should, and (7) looks. I have narrowed my choice down to two of the above mentioned cars, but am interested to hear the opinions of others. What do you think?

Ive been driving on private land for about a year now, being taught by my parents, (Im 17 in 2 weeks) so I can do most things like parking, reversing round corners, but I haven't had any road practice, ie turning out of junctions. Ive read that it usually takes about 20-40 lessons, which at around £20 a go, certainly adds up. How many lessons with an instructor do you think I would need before able to attempt a test?
